Baleganjur Processional Ensemble

Baleganjur Processional Ensemble is a traditional Balinese marching percussion orchestra, performed while walking or parading. The name Baleganjur comes from bala (troop) and ganjur (to walk), reflecting its powerful role as a moving musical force.

This ensemble is driven by rhythmic percussion, led by kendang drums and supported by reong, gong, kempur, kempli, and ceng ceng. Originally used in ceremonial processions such as cremation rites and temple rituals, Baleganjur has evolved into a vibrant performance widely featured in cultural parades, festivals, and stage shows.

At Mody Art Entertainment, Baleganjur is presented as a high energy musical experience that brings movement, rhythm, and dramatic presence to any event. The performers move together in formation, creating a dynamic flow of sound and motion that immediately captures attention.
